I signed an apprenticeship contract with JR-Tools in late 2021 to work as a Grinder. I used to work in a completely different field before starting here, so I am doing the basic studies in geometry, technical drawing and milling at Jyväskylä Educational Consortium Gradia. Working with my hands has been something that I have always enjoyed so I am glad that I can continue that also in this profession.

As a Grinder I do manual grinding and EDM wire cutting. Learning the EDM wire cutting has been both challenging and very interesting because there is so much to learn every day.

I think that we have a positive work atmosphere and team spirit here at JR-Tools. As a newcomer it has been easy to join the company because my colleagues are always happy to help and give advice.
