My responsibilities include manufacturing and resharpening of metal cutting tools including the process of removing the PVD coating from the tools before we inspect and resharpen them. I operate six different machines and also do manual grinding when needed. No two days are ever the same – this work brings new challenges all the time. Technical developments of the machines also requires learning new things.

The team spirit we have at JR-Tools is one reason why I have worked here for such a long time. The work hours are also flexible. I’m very happy with the arrangement we have with evening shifts: if you want to do 10-hour shifts for the first four days of the week then you will have a three-day weekend.
